Â鶹¾«Æ· is offering an opportunity for high school juniors and seniors interested in pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering and math to learn more about what to expect in college. STEM Visit Day will be from 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1.
Visitors will spend the day interacting with students, faculty and campus spaces. A panel of current Kansas Wesleyan STEM students will share their experiences and advice. Â鶹¾«Æ· professors will offer experiential learning opportunities in university labs. They will work with students on small projects in the areas of chemistry, physics, math and biology. There will be advising sessions on physics and engineering, environmental science and biology, math and computer studies, and chemistry. Visitors can sit in on classes and take a campus tour that highlights unique spaces, such as the Raspberry Pi lab, the observatory and the esports lounge.
